We involve the students in reading and discovering the identity of the image the pose describes. The images were painted by a 12 year old, Alina.

The paintings and text has been met with enthusiasm by school students aged 5-14 years. We hope to inspire the students to create their own books and aim at a high level.

The value in the message is to excite the students to the possibilities their own talents might offer.

We have the joy of meeting knowing something of Adrienne Howley. Mrs Howley story has inspired Sophie to set the Iconic Australian poem “I Love a Sunburnt Country” to music.

Adrienne Howley nursed its author Dorethea MacKellar for 14 years and became her biographer. She is a Buddhist the Venerable Howley a follower of the Dalai Lama and has lead an inspiring life.

In the workshop this and other works are played aimed to remind us to value our best Australian qualities of tolerance and co-operation in working together to create a better future.

At the same time we aim to promote enthusiasm for poetry and music. Harp flute and piano are played live. The choice of material is aimed to be accessible if not already known by the children.

We believe the children will find it highly palatable.

With the disappearance of 25% of the North Pole in 2006, Climate change is an immediate and terrifying prospect.

We offer a bright and cheerful look at the problem, aiming to leave the audience with a sense that not only can we deal with this problem but we can be enriched in many ways that we did not expect.
